UCLA Medical Center celebrates its 50th anniversary on July 7, 2005. 

Since admitting its very first patient on July 7, 1955, UCLA Medical Center has grown in a short amount of time into a world-class center of learning, research and patient care.

Events planned to celebrate this Golden Anniversary include:

'50s themed food in the hospital cafeteria! Enjoy a variety of food items for just 50 cents on July 7, Aug 18, Oct 20, and Nov 17.

Prizes will be rewarded to 50 winners after each on-line hospital trivia quiz.  

An employee celebration with cake and entertainment will take place September 15 from 4-8 pm on the hospital plaza.
