Elaine Ring

August 2005 marks my 38^th year as a UCLA Medical Center employee. When I started here, we didn’t have the ninth and tenth floors. My longevity here and in the department (I’ve been in the same department the entire time), speaks somewhat for itself. What stands out for me are the people, the working relationships, the friendships that I’ve made, the people that I’ve greeted in the hallways everyday for many years and still not know their name . . . it’s been my home away from home.
